Happy Canada Day

This is the best possible Canada Day gift anyone could have hoped for:

Friday is also the day for the final episode of Train 48, Global TV's cancelled supper-hour soap on rails... It is Canada Day on the train, though, which raises the question of why the regulars were commuting on a holiday, especially since it's nighttime outside the train windows, so it would be pretty late on a July evening. - Canada.com

Global, you have my sincerest thanks. Enjoy the long weekend and , of course, the patriotic binge drinking. Cheers.

Yea! Now if we can only get someone to kill off Ben Mulroney, the country shall be cleansed.

They're cancelling Train 48? I'm not a regular watcher, but it's not the worst show ever made. Perhaps because it's easy to relate to - the GO train, local references and all. I wonder what platform they will get off the train @?

Dito on the Ben Mulroney comment though Mic :). ^

I have to say the cacellation of Train 48 is the absolute best news I could have gotten on Canada Day!

BTW has anyone started a petition yet to get rid of Ben Mulroney?
